Argh...this is driving me crazy...where exactly did you get your dwarf disguise? I have looked and looked but can't find the quest >.< I have wanted one ever since I started reading your blog when I was like..60ish.
Sorry for the off topic post. I have looked so much on my own but to no avail. It's a great blog. I'd say I don't kill orcs anymore b/c of it...but it'd be a lie.
Oh my gosh...I feel so retarded o.o *goes and hides under a box* And I was thinking it was a real quest...maybe I am a tiny git...gullible...but don't tell anyone.
There are certainly other places that make you feel less welcome than that. I mean look what happens if you try to visit the Scryers now. They'll not only teleport you away they also give ya a nasty curse.
Now, to be fair there are a couple of elves who still welcome a dwarf to the area to collect basilisk brains until he goes insane, just the same as they would an orc. Were they camera shy? Cos they came with a couple of those big yellow exclamation points you can order in Stormwind that I was reading the other elves didn't have.
@Cal - The scenery be nice. It's just them "Welcome to the Blasted Lands" billboards what be lacking.
I shall say nuthin' more about her funny looking knees.
@Sonvar - I sometimes has great fun gettin drunk and starkers, then running around on the wrong faction's terrace to see how long I can go withouts getting caught or falling off. Is like being in a Benny Hill episode.
@Townes - They ain't locals, though. They's a couple of outta-town scientists what took one look at the billboards and said "Screw that! We're stopping right here. Hey you! We'll pay you to go down the road and kill a gazillion woldlifes fer us."
Thanks Rat. (Can I call you Rat? Or will you get a new dorf disguise in my alternate reality and come kick my bony butt if I do?) Sis really likes you, ya know, despite her weird fascination with blood elf guys at the moment, so I don't think she minds the knee comments quite as much as the fact it's the Studly Ratshag making 'em. :D
Me, I'm not worried, so you can make all the knee comments you like to me. Or elbow comments, or spine comments, or lack-of-eye comments, or head-strapped-together-to-keep-brain-in comments... whatever floats your boat!
Well, yeah, for some action with the locals, you might want to go to the Tainted Scar and watch Demon Marching Practice, then head back to get some Nethergarde Bitter at the Keep. The fellows with the wings don't like you to watch from too close-up, though. I think they're grumpy from all that marching back and forth a few yards, and nothing else for them to do out there.

My lips is sealed :)
Dunno what you've got against the Blasted Lands. Looks like a great place to hang out to me. Nice and homey.
Oh, by the way, thanks for being nice to my sis Melindrava... just stop talking about her knees, she's kinda paranoid that way.
