Yeah, I's totally seein' Ellspeth's pants.
Yup, the most importants thing about the new model is them clothies now has legs what go all the way up, 'stead of bein' all empty under they's skirts. Shammies and droods too. An' sometimes pallies an' even death knuggets. The hell is up with that? Plate armor skirt? Don't make no fuhggin' sense. Anywho, no more goin' commando if'n ya don't want buggers fer ta know.
An' yeah, Ellspeth be Forsakenized in beta. Don' worry, is just a temporary thing.

Melee Warlock FTW
Warlocks ain't got time fer that "fair fight" hogwashilization. Hit him in the back of the head with a big wrench while he's busy fightin' Harrison Jones? Works fer Ellspeth.
An' yeah, she copped a feel while he were all dazed an' confuzzled after.

TRANSMOGALYPSE! Unintended Consequences Edition
So, Ellspeth done went ta Ungoro Crater recentlies, and....
Wait, why is the little hoppy fish man staring at my forehead? OMG, am I getting a zit? No, that's impossible - I sacrificed those three babies to Uzglquotzl the Devourer for eternally unblemished skin.... Is there a bug on me? Did someone write something on me in permanent ink while I was asleep? Was it my voidwalker? Ratters, WHY IS THE LITTLE HOPPY FISH MAN STARING AT MY FOREHEAD???

Then And Now: The Way We Was
If'n ya reads this blog, then ya know what pictures of me an' the rest of the Team be kinda a big part of it. An' if ya don't read it, well then ya ain't readin' this an' so there ain't really no reason fer me ta done fini
Vidyala had this post the other day where she had this pic of herself from the early days and a pic of her today self. I thought were kinda interestin', so I went an' dug through the old crap (includins the crap in me original blog, Diary of an Upwardly Mobile Orc) and found the earliest pic fer a bunch of us. Then I took a brand new pic of everybodies (without warnin' so nobodies had time fer ta go change an' make theyselves presentable haha!). Is a few haircut changes a lotta gear changes, heirlooms, heirlooms swapped, transmogrifyin', an' tranmopathy goin' on. We's like that.
Anywho, here we is:
There be me, jumpin' up an' down like a loon just 'cause I'd done made it ta the Stonetalon Mountains. Whoo hoo, a new zone. Way fer ta start the blog off with class and dignity, kid. Gear's changed, of course. Id done tried out some new hairstyles in Northrend but ended up goin' back ta me gray and braids look. Just felt right, ya know. What don't show is the miles on the feet an' the notches on the belt, but you buggers alreadies knew about them.
Ellspeth, the team's first 'lock. Puld her outta a Silvermoon orphanage an' set her ta work. Still the same hair. Still the same showin' off her skin. Still psychotic as a glubbernugger.
Me kid brother. We was inta 'locks there fer a bit there, weren't we? no real changes here.
Mouse. Still impatient, still a killer, still sportin' that natural dead hairstyle. She done hadda make a name change when she joined me on the Cenarion Circle serververse, but that be about all. And we still know what her real name is.
Me, transmogrified inta a dwarf priest. That's right, I were inta transmogrifyin' before it were cool. Over the names I done changed me official name in this form from "Ratshag" ta "Ratdorf", and I done lost the Santa Claus look fer a shorter, braided black-colored stylin'. Get fewer mice livin' in it, that way.
He's far too busy bein' profound fer ta actuallies go aware or do anythin'. But we loves him anywho.
Alayda the festive shaman. She likes fer ta change her hair every six months or so, so the blue topknow be long gone. Is currently a green mohawk. Still got her tusks though - Alayda be a proud troll beauty an' ain't got no interest in tryin' fer ta look like a elf girl.
Pali's come a long way in Cataclysm, in every respect. She's changed her appearance several times, but always ends up comin' back ta wear she started. 'Course, a lotta the time she looks like a big laser-firin' chicken, but we ain't showin' that today.
See if'n ya can tell what changed here.
The Red Hawt Dwarf Chick is still Red Hawt, roflcopter braids an' all, even if'n ya cain't see'em in this pic. What do be different is she started off prot an' now be fury fury screamin-like-a-loonie fury.
Kinna came on board right at the end of the Burninatin' Crusade, an' I trained her up with the hopes what she could be me replacement as the Team's raider. An' she done succeeded an' made me real proud. Changed her hair and got a lot tougher, but inside she's still that little lumberjack's daughter from Nowhereshire, Elwynn Forest what were taggin' along after me. How'd we get both of us in the same picture? That be a good fuhggin' question....
Don' really feel like talkin' 'bout Vyp, just now.
Still the Death Knight of Loooove. Still sportin' that 70s pornstache an' drivin' the wimmenz of Stormwind .... elsewhere.
Heirlooms. Hard fer ta shake'em, although at some point they's gonna get transmogged inta Ruthless Gladiatiors. Not a lot's changed fer the team's only healer, although she been spendin' more time in BGs than dungeons of late.
Still sportin' a mustache so sharp it'll pierce his helmet. Still got no name, even though he done gone from bein' a lowlie bank alt ta GM of the Free Radicals.
Some of the Team members, especiallies thems what joined after the Shattering, don't really done gotten much attention here in the blog, at least nots yet. Mebbe some other time there'll be a retrospectalizin' fer Fink an' Creighton an' Goblin Hunter Boy (By Night Known As Fezziwhig) an' Justina Price Worgen. But that won't be today, 'cause then it would be now an' not then.

TRANSMOGALYPSE! Ellspeth: Green + Purple = Evil, Right?
Hi everyone! I know, I know, I already have a mog outfit, but when I saw this dress in the auction house I just had to have it. I mean, purple to represent magic, and green to represent the remorseless demonic energies I use to mercilessly rip the souls from those who annoy me and send them off to eternal torment in an unspeakable hell dimension. Plus, it brings out the color in my eyes!
So, here's the four one one:
Head: Amethyst Beholder Eye
Chest: Darkmist Wraps
Shoulders: Bog Mantle
Hands: Flamehandler's Gloves
Waist: Felheart Belt
Legs: Cindercloth Pants
Feet: Darkmist Boots
Weapon: Staff of Beasts

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Ellspeth ain't exactlies the fastest leveler. She were the first adventurer fer ta join me team, more'n four years ago, and, well....
She's happies fer ta be flyin' fast though, especiallies what she's now in charge of farmin' weeds fer Kalishna's new inscribblin' job. I'd be buyin' weeds on the AH, but when there's like one stack of Outland herbs fer sale? Pfffft.
Me, I's happy what raisin' the funds fer ta pay fer the flight trainin' be a lot easiers than it were four years ago....

TRANSMOGALYPSE! Hawt Like Ellspeth
Hi everyone, Ellspeth here. I've just finished putting together my first transmogrification outfit, and I couldn't wait to show it to you. It's kind of inspired by High Inquisitor Whitemane's getup, but it's way hotter. I mean, let's face it, I'm young, Sally's old, and if I'd been strutting in the Cathedral wearing these threads there's no way Mograine would have "fallen".
Are you okay, Ratters? You sounded like you were choking. You sure? All right.
So here's the run-down on it. Whitemane's Chapeau, of course. Red Mageweave Shoulders, Cindercloth Pants, and Hands of Darkness, thanks to my pal Gogmoth the tailor (don't worry, hun, I haven't forgotten about your reward). In Outland I picked up a Goldweave Tunic, Grom'tor's Bloodied Bandage, Ashwalker's Footwraps, and the Invincible Stave. Kinda like the sound of that. Don't you? "Invincible." "InVINcible." Oh, yeah, and the Ancient Bloodmon Cloak to finish it off.
I'd like to thank Kaliope of Kaliope's Crafting Blog and Ironyca and Noelani of the Visual Roleplay Gear List for their ideas. Thanks ladies, the check's in the mail and I'll be sure to drain your souls last. Tootles!

Hurry up and finish killing those dead people in Northrend and give me my damn heirlooms back! People are looking at me funny in these pants.
Better not stretch'em out with your big dumb orc shoulders neither, or I'll be draining your soul first, you hear me?

The Shattering: Hellfire Peninsula
Wait, Orgrimmar burned down? There was fire and destruction and panic and chaos? And because I'm out here in the sticks I missed it???!?
Phooey.
Do you think Garrosh would burn it down again?
Well, what if I offered to flash my boobs at him?
What?

Is Where Ellspeth Gets Achievements
Hi everyone! Ellspeth here, and wow! Do I have a lot to tell you!
About a week ago I finally said goodbye to Stranglethorn Vale, with its pirates and nagas and zombies and zombie naga pirates. To help me out as I work my way through Azeroth, Ratters got me these really kicky shoulders and robe. "Heirlooms", he called them, which I guess means he found them in a trunk in his grandmother's attic or something. What matters is, they have skulls on them. Demon skulls! How awesome is that??? My grandmother certainly never wore clothes with skulls on them.
This weekend, I tried something different. I'd already reached my forty-ninth season, smacking around pirates (yes, more pirates) and ogres and icky bug things, and I thought I'd try out this new battleground system. So I started questing in Felwood, but I kept myself in the queue for the Arathi Basin battleground, and took the new in-the-field automatic portal whenever it popped. And then the achievements and XP just started rolling in!

I used a system I learned from our friend Hydra: run, skip and jump around, put dots on anyone who looks at me funny, and sing to myself "I'm cute, I'm cute, I'm cute, you're DEAD, I'm cute..." It seemed to work pretty well, I think!
Okay, just to be clear. I did not loooove that dwarf after he was dead, I just hugged him. And that was already pretty icky, because he was limp and all dissolved on the inside and, well, a dwarf.
Hurray! I made it to my fiftieth season! I hate it when I get oppressed by the Man, but now the trainers is Thrallmar aren't so snooty and will, you know, talk to me. This was only the second quest I had to turn in that whole season!
And now I am trained. I had enough materials stockpiled in the bank to train up to about 325, but I really want to get to 350 so I can disenchant the greens Ratters is getting out in Northrend and be a part of the team again. To do that, though, I'll need to buy stuff at the Auction House. Oh Raaaattterrrrrssss? Can I have some moooonnnnnney?
Did you see the skulls on my shoulders? Aren't they adorable? Tootles!

Is Where Ratters Is The Best Minion Ever
Hi, everyone! Ellspeth here.Do you like my new hat? I think it's very cunning. It says, "Here is a liberated young woman who knows what she wants, and will totally destroy your body and soul if you don't satisfy her." No, really, it does.
Ratters got it for me, by fishing out in Northrend. Now fishing sounds easy, but he had to do lots of icky things like bathe in caribou blood and crawl around in the sewers. One time, he even had to find some dude's arm that had been bitten off and left in some fish's stomach all night. His arm! Yuch! I really don't understand Northrend fishing - I've never had to do anything like that to fish, not even in Stranglethorn. But Ratters did it all, just so he could get me this hat. Isn't he the bestest minion ever? He even has an easy to remember name, unlike Jerzewutever here. I'm totally going to keep him .... uh ... around ....
Ratters, what's that Marcia just gave you? It's so sparkly! Thank you - I'll treasure it always, and-
Auction House? 800 gold? But Ratters, I waaaaannnnt it.
Minion! Gimme!
Ratters? Raaaaaatterrrrrrrsssss.
Please? Sparkly?
I'll steal your soul last, I promise!

Is Where Ellspeth Wants A Hit
Hi! Ellspeth here!
Fine! Be that way! Just don't be surprised if someday I suck out your soul right through your eye sockets!!! Or maybe I'll get Ratters to beat you silly, or something. Hmmph.

You know, it seems like I've been here in Stanglethorn for like, forever. Or at least a year. Even my leveling buddy Suptail left me - Ratters has been helping her in places like Blackrock Mountain and Winterspring and a bunch of other places I've never been to. I asked him to help me with my quests, but he said no, that'd be against the rules. I get all the help I want with my professions, but he can't help with quests. I told him that rules were meant to be broken, that that's what they're for! But he wouldn't budge, the big meanie.
So here I am in Stranglethorn, killing trolls. Lots and lots and lots of trolls. Ratters tells me there's going to be zombie pirate nagas too, but I haven't seen them yet. Just trolls. And tigers. And gorillas.

Speaking of trolls, when I reached my forty-second season, I caught the zeppelin over to Orgrimmar to get some training, and I ran into Rim, who had just respecced. Got tired of fire and frost, I guess.

Wonder if I can score some mana crystals off of Hannelore...
Anyway, got to get back to Stranglethorn, and all its trolls, who are almost as mean as Rim. Tootles!
