Are you grinding out those last levels mostly solo? I've not played a SPriest past 15 so I am completely ignorant of how significant the healing / mana regen amount of Vampiric Embrace and Vampiric Touch actually is. Are mobs getting up in ur grill or do you just spook them if they get too close? I suppose this is a VERY long way to suggest +10 Sta armor kits cuz theys cheaper than dirt for any good LW and they would give you +40 Sta. Maybe that would help you put your mana into melting faces instead of mana-based band-aids. Just a small suggestion from an ignorant druid...
@Bell, Examino - it is what it be, /shrug. All comes down to what yer goals and motivations is
@sonvar - Me goal is to raid. As of this week, there is more opportunities available in AC fer healy priests than shadowy priests, so I's thinking that way. Should circumstances change, I may think shadow. Fer the next coupla weeks, though, it don't matter, so I's sticking with the face melting.
@Eus - mostly solos. The vampiric stuff is cool, but is mostly only useful on elites - normal mobs don't take enough damage to make it worthwhile, I finds. Bubble, SW:Pain, Mind flay, Mind blast, mind flay, mind flay, wand if needed. SW:Death if I's in a hurry to finish the bugger off. Usually I takes no damage and only need to pause from time-to-time to drink. Never bother to heal meself these days, other than an occasional bandage.
You want to see something cool? Group with an affliction warlock and watch how fast mobs die. I've got an affliction warlock and a dear friend of mine recently leveled up a shadow priest.
When she got to 68ish we ran around netherstorm killing everything that moved. Fastest 2 levels ever. We cut through the elites like an orc through a gnome...Err hot knife through butter!
Rats, try VT instead of SWP to pull the mob, costs a little less mana (possibly, it does at 70, don't remember lower), and returns a bit of mana. That's what I do in Quel Danas, VT, flay, flay, flay, wand.

YEAH RATHEAD, MOVE IT.
Maybe I'll get my holy priest moving sometime soon... I know you've passed me now.
You're such a slacker, Ratshag :P
Just kidding, I'm always impressed by people with more than one 60+ character!
Hmm.. i mostly pitty people with more then one 70 character :P
(close to dinging my fourth btw)
How do expect to be healing this stuff when from my understanding you were trying to be all shadowy to the end.
Dear Dworc Ratshag (or do you prefer Orf?)
