Guild Message Of The Day
Is a useful tool fer to pass important imformationizings on ta the rank and file of yer guild. Is why in me small Horde guild, where we cain't afford fer nobody ta be left outta the loop, we's delegated ta Guild Officer Rimunathah the very important job of keeping it ups ta date and always relevant.

Nice! Our MotD yesterday, thanks to the strange hordies I roll with on Demon Knights, was: "Today's MotD brought to you by the Penguins. Doobeee Doobey Doooooooo."
Because I couldn't have gotten through the day without knowing that, apparently... :-D
Today's important guild MotD: Damn dirty gnomes!
Last night our Guild MotD: I need attention.
I think our officers started using it to chat with each other one night.
We use our MotD to communicate important information (birthdays, schedule changes, etc.) only to find out that nobody ever reads it.
Then again, those same people don't read our forums either and are perpetually astonished when things happen without them...
The problem with the GMOTD is that it scrolls off the chat pane before you can even see it and then the rank and file don't think to look it up.
My guild's MotD for a little bit was how my semi-geared BM hunter out-dps'ed our epic'ed-out rogue, who is always crowing about HIS dps, on our last Naxx run. Hehe
Obviously fairly important that your Roof...just might be....on fire.
I hope the roof is on fire didnt mean that officers were using it to talk to eachother...
So why has Rim kept the guild message-"Look to the skies for the Purge signal!"- for about two months now?
I don't understand him very much.
