Plus, it appears it would allow you to catapult yourself to the top of Jaina's mage tower in Theramore without having to deal with any pesky guards.
That would make a much better entrance than having to sneak through the swamps. Probably smell better on arrival, too.
Jaina is the Master of teleporting. Who says she wouldn't just give him a booty call?
